Sorry, I never got a notification about this It went from 940 to 1020 from mostly Carbies. Not entirely sure how many subbed after the first two days of this post, but it is possible that it was a few Carbies mixed in between organic subs as I average about 150 subs a month.

The subs don't mean anything 😑 it's a nice flex, but that's about it! How many of those subs you convert to viewers, and how many of those viewers you convert to actual engagement is what actually matters.

I the beginning, the viewing hours are your first milestone. Don't even worry about the first 1k subs. That you can get in a few days, if you have the right content and market hard.

So to answer your question, no, the channel isn't monetised yet, it's 5 months old, and I don't have the viewing hours. I'm approaching the first level of monetisation soon, of 3k watch hours, but accelerating fast now. At the pace I'm going I should reach 3k within the next few days, and 4k some time soon too. Obviously the 4k is the one you want for ad revenue.

Once that happens, obviously the subs mean alot more. More subs = more ads being watch via the content and more income.

Awesome, appreciate the reply. My journey was the complete opposite. Seeing that it's a benchmark channel people just watch and move on. I had 11k watch hours before I hit 1k subs. Channel was monetised 30 October 2023 and since then I have gotten about $100US per month for about 90K views a month on average.
