At present, with parity being almost assured between consoles on visuals, I am actually leaning toward the Xbone. Reason being the controller just feels better in hand and the multimedia features it has over the ps4. Now I know most people don't use their consoles for media...but the Xbone getting Plex is pretty damn badass and I am sure a lot of people will use it as a media centre pass through.

Well, the XBOX One can replace my 3D Blu-ray player, my Roku, my mede8er and my XBOX 360 (obviously).

It wasn't viable to replace the Mede8er before but I see it can now do DLNA (incl. mkv) as of the last update. Can someone confirm pretty please?

If it can do proper DLNA, I can pay for the console buy selling the above boxes

I got my console on Friday with the Forza and Fifa bundle.
Included in the box was the Forza disc - but no Fifa code? I have hunted through the packaging like 4 times now and nada.
A mate of mine in Durban also received his on Friday, and same thing - no Fifa code.

Anyone know where to find this code?

I bought the 360 from BT Games and the chick from the suppliers was Tiffany... I had to imagine her as Delicious Tiffany (please dont ask why)

Ok, so just bought my XBOX 1 at Makro for quite a good price and has this weird crackling sound permanently coming from the machine.

It's not too loud but can hear it from across the room. Downloading a game to see whether it goes away on gameplay as stated previously.

Either way, going back for a swap a Makro next weekend for an exchange or refund.

Got my XB1 on Friday from Toy's R Us, was dreading the coil whine issue but it is completely silent. Its on all the time because I'm running my DSTV through it, and even when I switch the TV off sitting about 1.5m away there is no noise.

I received one without Kinect this morning.

Ordered on Thursday, received today. Pretty stoked with the service.

Plugged it in at work to do the update, took about 3 minutes. Will check coil whine when I get home.
