Hi Guys,

Im on the fence about upgrading to a 6800xt from 3060 ti For 1440p gaming.
Im playing a lot of Cyberpunk lately and plan to play hogwarts and some newer more demanding games.
Is it worth the trouble of selling my gpu and getting a 6800xt - or should i wait it out and buy something in another year or 2?

im not unhappy with my frame rate exactly. but sometimes Cyberpunk dips to 60fps 1440p with DLSS enabled.
I like high refresh / fps and i dont like lowering my graphics lol.

The 6800XT for R13k from Woot is a good deal. Not sure on the performance difference between the two and I can’t check right now.

It's about 35% better on average at 1440p - if you're running a 9900K, depending on your CPU the difference will be more or less.

For me, that wouldn't be enough of an upgrade to justify the money and effort. Side-grading within the same generation doesn't really make sense to me unless you're going from a card right near the bottom of that gen to one right near the top.

But if you feel keen for a smallish upgrade then go for it. Only you can decide if it's worth it to you.

Dont spend money for hogwarts yet.
I currently play it with my 3080ti, and I get dips below 60fps. No matter what I do I can't get my GPU usage in the game above 50%.

A lot of people complaining about it on reddit.

I thought i was the only one lol. My 3070 sits on like 60% or so and my cpu on 50 and its a Ryzen 3600.

I have been looking at upgrading my cpu for Hogwarts and cod as iv thought it may be bottlenecking the gpu. Although i also have low gpu usage in COD Warzone

Ironically seems the AMDs doing well in Hogwarts besides a few stutters

For warzone check your antivirus app exceptions as it became an issue with the last update
