World of Warships

Launched 17 Sept. (past weekend)

I have been playing this for about 2months now in the beta and alpha stages.

It is graphically beautiful and not resource heavy.
What can be done, modded etc its a winner
Its free, but you can buy premium content.... - BUT I must add you dont need to grind alot with the free gear to get the next level. I am at the point of where you really dont need to spend any money to enjoy this game.

best of all its the same producers of world of tanks etc and they plan in future to integrate all their world of XXXX games into one army simulate onlime game.

Give it a go if you enjoy naval warfare

Laptop won't run WOWarships, but runs WOTanks ok. I still kick ass there every weekend. Will check it out once my R6 nightmare is out of my life and I can finish building my gaming rig. I have watched a few videos of it on Youtube and it looks good, but then on the other hand I'm more keen for Armored Warfare.

Hmmmm maybe...

Just do it!

Strange...what lappy as mine runs it at full! 60fps, dipping to 48 ranges when you have 20+ warships in close proximity. *is your r6 still giving you issues....sell and get R1 :p

It is much more real then WOT, as the damage structure and impact points are of great importance, ie firing angles, what shells to use (over or under penetration) etc. If it works well in WOW they will be incorporating it in WOT as well.

SilvRav, Using a Lenovo Y570. Not really meant for gaming. Work laptop mainly.

Conrod bearing after oil pressure valve failed. Can be repaired, but the bearing was ordered 7 July and still not here. Selling and buying a Duke 390 for work and back.

I think Warships will be lots of fun, but I'm sure as hell not doing what I did in Tanks. At this moment, 19937 games played.

The one with the 555gm gpu?

dam bud! yes, r6 or r1 is not meant for commuting....I remember commuting on my 1000rr, not the best bikes for it.

haha, yes it does become a time waster but its FUN!

SilvRav,

It has a GT555M, but in dxdiag it says Intel HD 3000. Guess it might be a driver issue.

:p You need to sort out the drivers first yes, and then you need to set the GT555m as the default GPU to use.

Some games will use it automatically but some wont. Set it as the default and see.

I must say I enjoy the game - Not a moerse grind like WOT and the Destroyers are kak annoying but that makes it fun :)
in 2 days of jamming I got up to both countries T3 Cruisers and japan -T3 Battleship :) saving up for the T4 Battleship
