I haven't seen psyllium husks mentioned in the thread yet... Read up on it a bit when you are bored :D
It's essentially just fiber, but it makes you feel fuller and dampens the appetite a bit, thus helps to prevent snacking and over eating. If you are sensitive to food texture, it might not be for you though. It's mostly tasteless, but feels like you are swallowing cardboard shavings.

Think it is more to do with water weight that actual calories burnt that why you should weight daily and almost have weekly average to be 100% Accurate ( also same time ideally)
 
But still. 2560 calorie deficit per day really sounds like a lot. It is almost like he ate nothing every day.
The loss in weight is because he maybe drank and ate allot before measuring the first time and didn't have anything to meat and went to the bathroom before hand guy was planing on 500 cal deficit as i have it. So the change in weight was most probably not because of him starving himself.

Body weight fluctuates a lot with water depending on many factors, diet, exercise, inflammation etc. , for someone that big the swings can be even more pronounced. If you want to see what I mean about water weight just check how much ufc fighters can cut in weight the week before a fight, we're talking 10kg+ depending on weight class. Mostly water.
