Hey guys, those of you who work with multiple programs at once, I need some advice...

So I'll be getting some overdue fees paid soon and would love to improve my workflow.
My current setup is a single 24" Monitor...

I work with spreadsheets, sites, Zoom, discord, blender, obs, etc...
I cannot do two monitors next to one another, just don't have space, I will be able to fit a wide 25"(2560x1080) or a 27"(1920x1080) on my desk and then perhaps mount my 24" above it(if needed).

The way I see it, I have two options, well 3:
1. Ditch the 24" for a wide 25"
2. Ditch the 24" for a 27"
3. Get one of the larger monitors and mount the 24" above it.

So with the Ultrawide 25" and the 27" being more or less the same physical width, the ultrawide has more real estate in terms of resolution, but the 27" is physically larger.
It's worth noting that color accuracy is better on the 25" too(not that I do much color-sensitive work, but would be nice).

So would I be stupid going for the Ultrawide 25" over the 27"?
Should I mount my 24" above it or will it be overkill?

Links to what I can afford:

25

Also, which one of you?

I had the 25" UW and much prefer the 29" UW, Feels taller, the 25" felt really thin vertically. Wasn't bad but still, I'm thinking of 24" on the bottom & 29" above it. I'm in love with my 29" 2 tabs adjacent each other has more than enough space to comfortably read things, so now I constantly have two web browsers open lol

The 29 is gonna be out of budget, unfortunately, and start crowding my desk space.

I'd use the larger monitor as a main so I think having it at the top will be bad for my neck

If the need is not immediate then save up for 27inch 1440p. It saves you desk space and gives you extra screen real estate.

Makes sense, but I am, trying to save for other things too... Nou laat jy my gat jeuk

I would have tried to get that 24 on a bracket and depending on your spreadsheet rotate the monitor. Mine are 2 x 24 next to each other and another 2 on top of them. Would love to change it for say 42/3 or 32 4k

It just feels like I need more horizontal space... I'm leaning towards the ultrawide.
