So...my aim was to have a small, but powerfull gaming rig...well, as we all know CUD is a "bliksem" and an 800D came along to which I just could say no..

The Result:

In the system:

Zotac 55 C-E board
i3 - 550 (upgrading to i7 this week)
8gig Adata Gaming 1600 Ram
currently a 201gtx (upgrading to 480GTX this week)
Corsair 600GS
H50 CPU cooler

Still to do:
White LED strips to be installed
White 140 MM fans to be installed
Full water cooling loop
and much more to do

oh, and the display is 2 x 20" LED sammies

That is the most retarded thing I have ever seen. I like :p

That is insane! You could fit four tiny rigs like that into the case, and use it as an all-in-one LAN machine for four guys! That would actually be really awesome....

I'm interested to see where this is going. I don't see the point of watercooling the CPU, as H61 boards can't overclock, but hey, each to his own!

Mc, I am currently looking to install another board whereby I can movies/ listen to musci without it hindering my gaming performance...but its still has a lot of work.

What that system needs is a nice GPU with Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme cooler...

Just to quote your sig:

Errmm....HUH?

He's putting a GTX 480 in there with a water loop...

hahahahahaha, this rig will be a great conversational piece...
i think you mobo is trying to make up for something...

This is bass ackwards....

You on strong meds or what?

LOL!!! I almost fell off my chair laughing when SilvRav first sent me pic of this.
At least there is a lot of room for future upgrades... :D

ok, so its been updated a bit :p

I preferred it with the tiny board, it looked like a special "case".

There I said it. Shoot me.

I say that case should not be allowed small boards....

These dam pedo cases :p

Nice build Silv ;)

Well as most of you know by now this Zotac board was replaced by a Gene ii and a week later by a 2011 board with a 3820 chip.

I have 2 x 480's in sli and the problem with the d800 is ventilation...I was quite supprised to see the little amount of thought that went into ventilation in the bottom and more the sides of the case.

So, here is my solution. (just need to mount the fans tonight)

4 x 120mm exhaust fans to remove that hot air from the case that the 480's are producing.

BEFORE FANS 68-75'C on Load
AFTER (will post as soon as its been tested)

Measured and planned

Cut out and ready to start mounting
