These guys aren't team mates, they are queuing together using Discord. So there already aren't HUD icons and damage is already enabled, since the game treats them as enemies of each other, not team mates.

And they seem to be coordinating just fine despite the difficulty, as @StangV2_0 describes. It helps that COD DMZ is much less hardcore than Tarkov. So strength in numbers does help.

Combating the phenomenon of people queuing together using Discord, is difficult. Since they could be scattered all over the country, a simple IP check wouldn't work. You'd have to implement something like a check to see if a player has clicked "join queue" at the exact same time as another player/s repeatedly, and then force those players to queue into different lobbies.

They weren't Randoms, it was planned. There was no proximity chat so they were all on discord etc. Anyways, if you cant beat em, join em, Ill be bringing a team of 20 next time! Bitches.

Afaik you can make squads of up to 6 players, but pretty sure people will use something like discord to get around this.
We've teamed up into a squad of 4 before and sure it does give you an advantage as most players don't ever expect to see more than 3 people on a squad, however we've also taken down larger squads with just a squad of 3. I don't care too much as it's easy enough to pick up guns again and most of the time I'm removing guns from my stash as it's mostly full anyway.

Also prox chat can be turned off in the settings, clearly most players just click "auto detect" and run with it, as tons of 3 man squads have their prox chat on. I don't qq with randoms so it's perma off, will rather solo DMZ or BR than play with randoms.

It depends if someone kills you while you are disconnected. I managed to get out of a labs raid where my ping was too high and kept getting kicked. lol.

I'm unsure of the odds of getting high ping servers as I don't know which servers specifically sit behind each region and I don't REALLY want to spend a day running scav raids trying to map them out. It might also depend on how long you are in each raid... like if you are LUCKY you can end up jamming the same server back to back... that could be good or bad depending on whether you end up on higher or lower ping servers.

BUT this MIGHT be a good thing for ZA...just depending if people choose "ok cool now we're all stuck on ZA let's smash" instead of "ok fine I'm now officially done with Tarkov".

Useless game with useless devs and even more useless audio.

By far the worst audio in game.
The game just straight up lags, whether you have 20 ping or 200 ping, whether you have a 1070 or a 3060, it lags. Your game crashing is almost inevitable and dont think you can load back in after your crash like you can with apex.

Personally ill be giving this one a hard skip. Will stick to apex and lazering shields all evening.

Its just weird like loading screens and game animations are doos loud and then when you actually need to rely on audio to stay alive its not there.

Only my 2nd ever crash but it couldn't have been more devastating, large backpack, 3 plate vest, durable mask and then my fully stacked RPK and the 1 shot explosive ammo Victus XMR.

I moved the vram slider slider setting back to 80%. It was maxed out. Reddit said this may be causing it. I only played for a day like this before they released a game update that also supposedly fixed crashing. So its impossible to say now...

Either way, this weekend will tell if it is sorted.

I'm assuming this is some American bullshit I'm too Afrikaans to understand but I'm seeing a lot of talk on the DMZ subreddit about people saying the PVP people need to calm down and let the PVE people do their missions, you don't have to immediately shoot everyone you see maybe they're friendly.

I have pretty much stopped playing DMZ all together. I find BR so much more satisfying. Got a 2nd place in solos over the weekend. That win is coming. Besides, even a quick death in BR is more fun than a long drawn out DMZ round with bots only. I also find that the XP in a good BR round is a lot better than DMZ.

I will probably be sticking to BR till we get another mode or the return of Plunder.

Haven't played in like a week due to load shitting. But I enjoy BR and DMZ with my friends/family. I'm getting a lot more kills compared to Warzone 1. Not sure if everyone just got shit, or the game finally shoots where I point my gun. Often times I am 100% certain my crosshair is on target, yet I miss, seems to be less so in this one.

Still utter shit that I can't max out my graphics without lagging. I hope they fix that or update their recommended system requirements, because this is just bull shit.
