Warzone 2.0

Nothing wrong with that :)

Was just curious as I tried playing on I5 8400 with low graphics at 720p haha! and I was surprised it actually ran well. not sure on the FPS tho
lol dude thats a Porsche compared to the Celeron! even a 12 year old i5 2500 is faster than the Celeron G5905.. Anyway will make a plan.

Oh yes huge spikes at times where latency climbed high but for the most part I was 14 to 50ms latency on my systems.

And yes the spikes occurred on different setups so it's not down to one manufacturer.

Hope they get the Social bug fixed asap.

Managed around 6 rounds before the game really started lagging and Eskom said that's enough for the night.

Gulag feels like I'm playing TDM now too has a different feel somehow.

DMZ feels TOO EASY and think I ran into 2 other REAL HUMANS the whole time, even teabagged one to make it classy

Gona give this a go tonight! Amped for something new, and local servers will be cool. Hopefully the servers fill up a bit more.
So if I have it right, we have the BR and DMZ for free?

Yeah @AceSwiftShooter DMZ and BR free for you guys, still buggy as hell and needs fixing but unlike Battlefield this will be sorted for the most part in a couple of weeks.

The only things they don't fix is hardware issues where most freezes or crashes come from Ram XMP mode and gpus boosting too high even at stock.

Cool Thanks. Hmm well I will have to see how my pc takes it.

Think of the bots as a tutorial phase. XD

Very noob question, I assume DMZ is bots? cause last night I played my first ever COD game since COD 4 and boy I was shocked haha!

Cause I logged into DMZ not thinking what other games there are had 3 team mates which died like flies... It just felt way to easy killing characters in DMZ
Nope, it's a combination of bots and players.

Thank you :) noticed team mates where players but obviously also new but not sure if they rushed and die cause silly me be playing sneaky xd
Yea I have to change my playstyle. Played 3 games, died 3 times. That's a 100% success rate at dying.

Yeah I got used to shooting at bots and then suddenly came up against a human. Dead.

Getting 120~140fps on my rig with everything on max and DLSS on balanced. 3440x1440
I'm sure I can tweak the settings to pin 144fps easily enough

Some of my mates saying their cpu is less stressed an Warzone 2.0 than Warzone 1.
Anyone else noticed this?

@StangV2_0 it definitely feels like a more refined version of the first game. And no more rubbish raytracing to screw around either.

So far frame drops/stutters seem to be in menus sometimes and on initial drop in. Have only have one freeze but appeared to be the game unhappy with an xmp on my one system.

Also just going to put this out there but I think recoil control and aim have been tweaked to give new players this sense that it's easy as not to upset them YET like a more arcade like gun feel to make the kids happy. Just feels slower but easier then the TDM modes for now.

Another fun fact I ran out of bullets in DMZ a full 3 or 4 times in one round good times those, when you're suddenly a parkour legend.

So what exactly is the point of the money in DMZ, I just assumed you'd use the money to buy attachments or guns etc?

played my first few games. not a shaby game. quite different to what I am used too. First game I've played that has maxed out my VRAM though. Max settings (no dlss etc)

First games last night. A lot of Bots in DMZ. Actually a little annoying cause they easy to kill and then you relax a bit till the guy in front if you us suddenly not a bot and they know how to shoot back. This usually results in the surprise of your life while you jump like a Roo and scramble for cover. Gonna try BR this weekend hopefully there isn't as many bots.

The UI is confusing. The social tab and ways to add and join friends is broken. The loadouts and Battlepass have me scratching my head. DMZ itself is fun to run around in but the objectives seem confusing but then again it was only my first few games. Will try learn it a bit more and then give BR a go where I can just worry about killing players.

The game itself feels nice though. Movement feels good. Looting I feel is a little step back feels like it just takes a fraction longer to decide what to pick up and add to inventory. Gun recoils and TTK feels good. Hoping to level up a bit for some more attachments pretty quick. Got to level 12 I think last night before GPU crashed for 2nd time and called it a night. But that's not an issue with the game I think it's the GPU will work on that this weekend.

Otherwise I am enjoying it. Hoping we see a plunder or blood money game mode soon which will be fun to play and learn the map at same time.
