Support Wanted Threads

If a thread is posted as wanted and the person who contacts saying they have the item you are looking for is feedback allowed if the item is not posted or is that against the rules?

Valid question. Let's look at our forum rules for reference:

Feedback​

Feedback is a system that we use for tracking a user's reputation with regard to online dealing. It can be accessed by viewing a user's profile and clicking the Feedback Score tab.

• No sale/wanted/trade threads may be made after the fact for the purpose of giving or receiving a Feedback rating. This is a bannable offense, and the rating will be deleted without warning.

So to answer your question, yes it is against the rules.

EDIT: To give clarity if there was a valid sale thread from the seller, feedback is allowed.
