Vodacom Huawei R216 accessing router login

Hi Carbonite,

I need help please, so I've got a Vodacom issued Huawei R216 pocket wifi router, had it for a while now, so usually to access the routers setting etc. you would go to http://vodafonemobile.wifi or 192.168.0.1 one in the same thing. Now to my problem, when I try access it, it starts loading and stays on a loading screen forever and doesn't change, it seems like it gets stuck on the loading screen and never progresses beyond that. Anybody experience this? and if so how did you resolve this issue? any help is welcomed

Oh and just a side note, I've waited for long to give it time to show the page, because they are generally very slow. I also used to be able to access it with ease now I'm just stuck on an infinite loading screen, and last note I have done a hard reset of the router and still same thing

Is the issue on your phone or windows interface?

If the later try qith ie 11 or chrome

Yeah issue was on Windows pc. So just tested on Chrome now and its working! Thanks so much Skylix001!! I tried it on Edge, Firefox even tried through safari and all the same, never thought that Chrome would do the trick

Thought I was going crazy after trying 3 different machines with different web browsers and all just an infinite loading screen. Side not I really need to run Chrome on a machine, Firefox is not always gonna cut it for me
