Utility Communication Infrastructure Engineer/Project Manager

Hi Guys,

We are looking for a Utility Communication Engineer/Project Manager.

Ideally the candidate should have experience in one or many of the following technologies having deployed them within a Utility business which is involved in either electricity, water, gas, steam or other similar municipal environments:

• TCP/IP or ethernet based networks (fibre optic and copper)
• GPRS, 3G, 4G, LTE etc
• WiMax
• NB IoT
• SquidNet
• LORA WAN
• Other wide scale communication infrastructure

The following characteristics are required:

• Experience in conducting site surveys, testing, installation and commissioning of communication infrastructure. The more technology options above that the individual has worked with the better their overall scoring would be.
• Experience in working in Africa, Europe or countries in other continents would be valuable
• Experience in agreeing budgets, timelines and roll-out strategies
• Should have worked within a team dealing with utilities and/or telcos
• Ensuring that deadlines are met
• Providing technical support
• Attending meetings and doing occasional technical presentations
