So normally when a UPS dies you get no joy. Like its completely dead. So you chuck it out and get a new one, after checking the fuse.
I have one that is continually beeping, as long as the power is on. (I thought it was the battery that was the problem, but tested and it has 13 volts....) so is the UPS dead? The manual says that continual beeps means "overload" but the beeping continues without any devices connected. If power goes off it switches off, no power from the battery.
Should I just chuck it away?
Brand is EATON
