Hi Guys,

What's your opinion to regards the upgrade on the AIO for a 3570k? I'm looking to upgrade to an H100i V2 but would like to know anyone has done this and was there an improvement?

Let me know

Regards

What kind of temps are you getting now?

I doubt you're going to see a whole lot of improvement in temps at a 4Ghz clock. If you're looking at pushing it higher then it could be worthwhile.
Where you'll definitely see an improvement is fan noise. A push/pull on a single 120 rad has to work harder than those same two pans pushing through a 240 rad. You'll get away with lower fan speeds on the H100i to get the same temps as you're getting with the H75.

I reloaded the machine yesterday to do some tests so now I have pushed it to 4.4 GHz temps a bit high idle at 56 to 60. Under load it goes to 79 - 80. Ran prime for awhile did not go passed 81 with fans running at 100%

I think it might be Ivy Bridge's famously crud IHS that's causing your problems. No point slapping a bigger cooler on it if the heat can't get away from the core to start with.
I don't know how attached you are to that CPU or its warranty, but if you really want to push for comfortably more than 4Ghz then a delid is recommended. You'll see a decent temperature drop even with your H75, never mind the H100i.

Then again, this is all "AFAIK".
I'm no overclocker and could be talking rubbish. There are guys on this forum who know a lot more than me about it so let's see if someone else can corroborate.

Yeah dude, delid will be worth much more than a h100i etc.
I run a H55 on a delidded 3770k and my idle is around 35-37 degrees with my fans on 800/900 rpm and around 63 odd in ITB (very high) with fans slightly higher at around 1400rpm.
