Got the first stick of this ram on Carbonite as a part of a bundle deal with a mobo and CPU. It runs great together, so I got another matching stick to make it 32gb (2x16). I have an ITX build, so I was quite limited with cooler support
because the RGB on the ram makes it a little taller than other non-RGB ram. I managed to get around it by orienting my cooler 180° so it isn't above the ram. Just picked up a new case last week, and the cooler orientation unfortunately interferes with the power cord, and the only solution is to rotate the cooler back, which I cannot do with my current ram.
So now I am interested in trading my RBG ram for your non-RGB ram of equivalent or similar spec. I know a lot of people like RGB, so I figure someone may want to trade for RGB. The ram I'd be most interested in is G.Skill Ripjaws F5 (2x16) 6000Mhz, but open to discussing anything. I am willing to add a little money on top for ram that's higher spec if necessary. I am also willing to sell the ram, if anyone is interested in just buying it. If no one's really interested in the trade then I'll probably change the post to sale.
TL; DR: RGB Ram is too tall for build, want to trade for equivalent short non-RGB ram. Can add money to trade if necessary. Can also just sell ram if anyone's interested.
