[Well after saving up a long time and paying off a system i dreamed about it all came to an end in the worst way possible.

I dreamed about owning such a system a long long long time and the dream came true but today on 10/2/2020 my world was shattered came home with a new 1080 poped it in but thats wierd my pc has a shitload of static(please note each day i remove my power blug) anawys switched my pc on and all i see is 00 and no boot code so i switch gpu's and still 00.

I then went thru all the fault finding and untill the end to the bread box all it says 00 so after consulting more tech savvy people than me indeed my mobo died and with thurther inspection there she is underneath the cpu a small burn on the rail.

So as i need a pc for my work ime selling this one as is......all the other parts tested and works fine thank the maker or i would jump off soutpans berg.

My eyes are red with tears as one day i did not remove my power cabel a dream was taken not a vriend not a person but a dream torn away.
In loveing memory of Susanna

Stay away from raidmax. Blew up on my pc and omg i can imagine what you went through. Raidmax is pure trash. When it blew it nearly fried my 1080ti and boy did i go crazy. Luckily it survived and from there i will never touch a raidmax psu ever. That being said bud.... have you considered looking around for a cheap x399 board? Seems like you had an emotional attachment to your pc like all of us. Have you considered getting another board bro?

Sorry for you loss, this PSU is the culprit I believe. It's worth spending on a good PSU if only for the level of internal protection they employ
I I tested the psu on another system and she runs like stroop this is really the shitty'st monday ever

Opened a thread on carb a few months ago to get some advice on why my brothers PC kept turning off at random. I tried everything, from swapping the Ram out,to changing the case,to swapping out the PSU - all to no avail. Then, one day someone told me that both the PSU's I had tried might be faulty. One of them, the newer one,was a fucking RAIDMAX. I bought a cheap coolermaster PSU just to confirm my suspicions. Lo and behold,it was the fucking RAIDMAX. Yeeted that thing into the nearest bin.

Never again

Sorry for your loss OP :(

After all that hardwork i doubt you would find satisfaction in building another pc. Rather save and get another x399 board. I am also working so hard for my ryzen build and once i am done with it i will chill. But i would suggest not to be too hasty. Take time to grieve, then get in the right mindset before deciding to sell.

If i did not need my system for work everyday that would have been option number 1 but now i have to pick up the pieces and do what i can

I would rather try to test it with another mobo. Maybe someone has one that you can borrow or take your stuff to test?

Isn't 00, a dead CPU? Maybe move the post to smack talk to diagnose the issue?

Indeed it is but the the reason for the 00 code is that one of the rails running from the cpu burned after major fault finding and testing all the other parts including swapping psu units. I saw the small burn on the rail when i swaped gpu's

Splitting prices. Please note i will only sell piece by piece when each part has a home.

Cpu: TR 1920x 3.5k on hold
Mobo: msi sli pluss x399 freeb (dead in my opionion)
Gpu zotac 1080 R3800

(since everyone agrees raidmax sucks lol) ile include a thermaltake 650w psu R450
Case s340 elite white and black R700
Cabels raidmax black and red R250
1 coolermaster cpu cooler R250
And 1 corsair h100i v2 R800 no box but have all parts.

Ok so i found buyers for most of the goods.

If i can find a buyer for the gpu and ram that should be good to buy a new smaller system just to be able to do my work.

Agreed. Had to fix my raidmax 3 times in 2 years. From sparks falling out of it to dry solder joints causing the CPU to lose power. Stay away!!

Hey BeArCrusAdE, Im sorry to hear what happened! That sux man! I really hope that you will find that dream system again! If my threadripper/mobo died... I would be probably too...what cpu/system you planning on to get after this?

Shhooweee that's a cheap 1080, testing my self control here.
Sad to hear about your loss bud!
