To simplify it, their odds of winning pre tournament were 4.5 : 1, this year they were 14 : 1.

Yes sure any team can beat anyone (well, mostly) but England will have to play the best rugby ever played to beat us, and hope we play like we did against Japan in 2015

Not much different from this team in personnel. Just have to put it right on the day and they can beat us. A lot less pressure on them this WC.
I'm also a bit concerned that the France game took a lot out of us. If we come in flat against Eng who knows. Eng have the right game plan and mentality for knockout rugby.
 
I'm nervous again boys........
Know England have been playing like kak but they haven't lost. Farrell has a stupid typical smile on his face at the press confrences and I want to go knock him on his ass the little shait. If he high tackles one of our players and breaks their jaws like with old frenchie then we in shit for finals.

the last time he had that face was the 2019 final, And got hammered

Nah, Disagree with that we are in shite if one player gets hurt, We literally have a backup for every position that is as good as the starter.

Yeah oops meant to word that a bit differently. Was trying to say I really want the strongest 15 on the field to start vs ABs. First 20min will be crucial. So something like a Malcolm Marx would be missed as a) a good hooker and b) a good fetcher. I'd start him.

I must be honest; I have also always fallen on the side that OF is a knob!

But apparently, not so. Read this when you have a gap. It certainly changed my opinion of the guy. Especially the part with signing autographs for kids in the rain, after he got that red card...

South Africa hasn't been playing excellent rugby either in my eyes.

Their kicks to poles vs Ireland. Granted you could consider it throwing for the purpose of not facing the All Blacks, but the French folded them, so why play the French instead?

France were the better team on Sunday. South Africa were relying on high risk plays in order to win, whereas France were playing a consistent pressure game and almost folded South Africa. If just 1 high risk play failed, the game was in the bag for France. South Africa can't rely on the same strats tomorrow, they should be hail mary's to extend their lead, not desperate attempts to win.

Without immediately opening up Google, when last in your mind did we lose to the French? And then the same goes for the AB's?

Playing the mental game here, I would rather face the French than the AB's any given day (in my opinion).

Then you mention, we haven't been playing that great, which I actually agree with. It happens in sections year on year with us. I am actually happy though to agree with you because that leaves us with a chance to play an insane game "soon". The previous RWC we almost didn't get past Wales but then went on to destroy the English in the final. Holding thumbs that we scrape through today and have our big 1 in the finals. There will be no better feeling for a 2 week post game after the beating the AB's in a RWC final again. I will be listening to PJ Powers EVERY SINGLE MORNING for a while :D
 
Ouens ... what a game!

I will admit not sure why the English got so upset at the end and wanted to fight. I feel they should have won cause the mistakes the boks made but damn good sportsmanship died
 
Check the only way we can maybe win next week is if they remove Allen Donald from the bench. Currently Oscar Pistorius is taking way too long to heal his leg injuries, so we'll need a proper replacement for him on the field.
 
Hopefully the Proteas are watching so they can see how to not to choke!

I reckon this Rassie's Game plan
Boks play like shit for a few games but win....
NZ in final being over confident, and boks to bring their A++++ Game, well atleast one can hope!
