I am moving at the end of this month (Dec). I've spoken to Axxess and with fibre installers being on holiday and whatnot they reckon I won't get fibre installed before the end of JAN.https://imgur.com/a/l5hLtuc
1 month without internet is not really possible :D I do work from home and gaming keeps me sane 😁

My thoughts so far:

1. I could use my phone and mobile data, but Vodacom's biggest data deal for 30 days is 100gb for R1000, which is a bit gross, I don't think 100gb will last me & the fam so that may end up costing like R3000
2. I see Rain has month-to-month so maybe I could use Rain for a month and pickup a wireless router. My new house is technically out of 5g range according to Rain. They do have 4g deals, but if I got one of the 5g deals and only 4g was available do you think it would connect to 4g instead and still work?

3. Buy an MTN sim, buy some data from here: https://carbonite.co.za/index.php?t...-processing-active-support-free-vpn-⭐.430190/
And maybe chuck that sim in a spare phone, or get a cheap LTE router.

I'm not toooo sure what to go for here so hopefully one of you have been through the same thing and can gooi some advice ❤️😘

An option if you're prepared to cancel your bank card to get the debit orders to stop :ROFLMAO: I don't know many people who have successfully cancelled and had payments stop.

Not great news 😂 But good to know, shot!

There are a ton of complaints on Mybb, and a few here, and my wife was one of them (she got Rain against my advice).

The middle of your screen grab reminds me of a joke I used to tell when I was in Sun Valley: I went looking for a wife at the SPCA, it ended in TEARS :ROFLMAO:

So how close will you be to her old house?

Create new virtual card for debit orders, process cancellation, delete virtual card? Rain can be bested

Think its the luck of the draw. had good service with them when i was on 4G.
problems came when i took their top 5G product and downgrading to lower speed. so issues came after the lowering of the speed, never really got the speed so cancelled but that was also quick and easy for me.

I have a friend that ddint have as great cancellation as me so each one to their own.
but why not look into data top up's, think there's a guy on here with great prices for MTN, just get a prepaid sim and get the data deal from him for the month? My MTN on 4G was doing speeds that I didnt see on the middle package of rain.
