Reason: I bought this bad boy to use my XPS 12 with my T260 (1920x1200). Kept it around after I replaced the XPS 12 with an XPS 15 but also bought a D3100 dock so don't think I've used it much. Now have a new XPS 15 that doesn't even have a mini displayport output.

You'll notice this one is $45 on the startech site, vs the $18 of the "normal one" https://www.startech.com/AV/Display...Port-to-HDMI-Cable-Adapter-Converter~MDP2HDMI which you'd see the equivalent of for about R200-R350 locally. Gots to have those 120 extra lines of pixels...
