Solo Mining or Pool Mining ZEC/ETH

Hi miners.

I came across the following discussion , and was wondering if anyone here tried solo mining? I am looking for a bit "newer" information of what pool is the best to mine with, which is difficult for me to compare with only 1 GPU at the moment.

* What are your thoughts? Is solo mining more rewarding in the long run? or is the difficulty to high to get lucky?
* What is the best pool server to use for zcash and/or Ethereum?

I would say pool mine, difficulty too high for solo mining.

I use Suprnova for altcoins, can't remember what I use for ETH, will need to check in the morning

Definitely pool mining unless you have a massive mining farm. And I use nanopool for ether and sia

I am also using dwarfpool at the moment. Returns were great last week, but this week is rather mediocre.

Their Zcash pool is flypool. And I am going to use it this week. Friend of mine is using it and it is very good for him

Cool thing about ethermine is you are able to view your stale shares.
