Good Day Carbies, Carbonites and WaterCarbies Evolved

Honestly, I don't know if I can outright post a feedback discussion; however, I did not see anything in the rules stating otherwise.

That being said:

Item Wanted: Honest Feedback on How we can Improve the Water Cooling Experience and Products in our Country #SupportLocal

We've introduced a Special Order feature on our website that allows you to request any Bykski Product you come across on the internet. We'll make sure to include it in our upcoming stock replenishment order.

We're eager to hear from our community about which products they'd like to see more of and how we can enhance your experience if you've shopped with us before.
Our goal is to foster a thriving water-cooling community in South Africa. While we understand that EKWB products might be out of reach due to their pricing, we're excited to announce the upcoming launch of Granzon components.

These components are not only of exceptional quality but also boast a sleek, clean look, albeit at a higher price point.
This discussion is an open forum for all insights and discussions related to water cooling. We're committed to assisting the community to the best of our abilities, so please share your thoughts and suggestions with us."

@admin, Am I allowed to ask to have a discussion in this manner or do I have to do it differently?

I read the rules but didn't seem like it was really in there.

I just honestly want to hear what the people say the amazing people

Just started water cooling this year, after searching around cant come to grips with paying excessive shipping/import tax for items. Tried out Bykski, so far experience has been great and really customer satisfaction focused supplier. products themselves seem to be decent quality.

After alot of international forum searching, noted some other premium brands have alot of quality control issues. Just wanted to comment to get the discussion going. Custom water cooling is a very small market in ZAR and it aint a cheap hobby. So far having a local supplier that is willing to reach out to the community is a good sign. That said we should respond to improve the experience for veterans and beginners.

I've been eyeing water cooling for my PC for a while, but I can't shake the fear of accidentally turning it into an aquarium. It's taken me years to even think about going for sealed Liquid cooled units.

The cost is another problem that's kept me from taking the plunge. Honestly, setting up a decent water cooling system seems as pricey as getting a solid NAS setup for me right now.

Maybe in the future, when I've got all the main components I've been dreaming of, I'll gather the courage to try water cooling. Thinking about reaching out to Bykski, their stuff looks promising, and what I've read and seen on their site gives me a bit more confidence in giving it a shot. Glad to see that there is a local business that cares thus much about their customer base to reach out, its rare these days. Although I do not do water cooling as of yet Bykski is my first point of reference to anyone I've ever encountered and asked about water cooling.

I'd be very keen on seeing what the new Granzon products have to offer.

The biggest issue with watercooling as with all tech at the moment is ROE.... I miss the days of building fully cooled systems including ram blocks dual res etc. For like 15k.....

Looking to build some new demo client systems soon that are fully cooled

Bring me a proper south bridge water block, as I indicated last time.
And no, a M.2 NVme Water Block is not appropriated for that purpose.

Thank you so much, we really are trying to at least be as responsive as possible to client support. We have 2 2-year warranty on most of our major components. We try to also be fair regarding any failure.

If you are really scared I would suggest maybe doing a sinlge loop on just 1 component like CPU only or GPU only. Keep it simple, soft tubing and basic. It minimizes chances of failure and once you see how easy it is the bug is going to bite and you'll be planning your next loop very quickly.

I would also like to mention we have support staff to assist to the best of their knowledge.

Price wise if you think about it your Pump, Reservoir and Radiators you can always reuse for at least 3 new loops over long period of time. (If you do proper maintenance).

So the cost of the 2nd and 3rd loop is far less, you can sometimes even re-use the CPU cooler for 2-3 loops.

I tried honestly I did, Bykski Head Office does not manufacture one. another crazy suggestion is to buy just a cpu block and maybe dremel it and mod it into a South Bridge haha

Thanks, appreciate this response.

How often is maintenance done on basic setups and what does it entail?

Will definitely come to your direction first should I ever go this route in the future 😁

Look it's best practise to do maintenace every 6months but I think most people lazy it out to around a year; HOWEVER, you just need to check your loop every now and then to see if something funny is going on but it's quite obvious....example.....liquid colour is getting funky = maybe i should flush the system and put in fresh coolant because there was possible bacteria contamination, corrosion etc.... My temps are high maybe i have a blocked fins on the waterblock.....If you ran high temps for a long time maybe for safety I should redo my tubes (Hard tubing) because they might have slightly disformed or morphed from the heat...

What I'm basically trying to say is just be savvy about it anything happening in the loop has a reason and you just need to make sure it's in good health at all times and you won't have issues.

It's a fantastic hobby and a real show stopper when you show it off to people.

The communities on Facebook all around the world are also super helpful

The new Hand pump for pressure leaks works great ! Thank you for ordering in the 12mm frosted tube <3, still waiting for you to get similar reservoirs like the EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 360.

I'm working hard this year on getting in Distrobution blocks and different coolants

It just takes time but it's the goal for the year and to get more special orders from all the lovely enthusiasts

Been diving into the idea of a Phanteks NV9 case and starting off with my first CPU custom water cooling kit, the issue is, I have no issue with where to start, I have the idea, all stealth (Black out everything) and get the liquid a nice blood red.

But working through the website, it seems like I can prepare for R7k to start off with?

I've heard only great things from friends about Bykski, so for sure my local choice when I go down this road

I had an order come in similar to this. I assume it's already been sorted :)

Thank you @BykskiZA for the help and guidance to build my first custom water cooling. CPU temps are idling at 21, previously at 29. Under full load 68, previously 81.
