My love life with @KURT_COCAIN
You must be particularly unattractive, he usually doesn't last that long.

For those who have played, what's the verdict so far? Besides bugs and wait times because that's normal for a beta - how's the game itself? Much different from Diablo III? Same thing with new graphics?

PLayed for a few mins now. Game is very pretty, a few updates in the UI / interaction compared to what we are used to. Runs smoothly enough, odd jerk here and there (server latency?). Story seems very well fleshed out and like the overall cutscene / level-to-level transitions, gives it a much more immersive feeling that the previous ones.

The levels seems to have the more sombre and dark vibe from I & II, so I will definately spend an unhealthy amount of time playing this.

Also: on a 3070 had most things maxxed out and was running fine GFX wise.

Played about 2 hours last night. I didn't have disconnects, just a queue to get in. I gotta say I'm impressed and I tried to keep my expectations low, because... blizzard...

But I am really enjoying it so far. For a beta, it's quite polished. A lot of negativity from people that haven't even opened up the game yet, but that's the same for every game tbh.

I also like the dark and somber vibe a lot

So this weekend the rest of us get to play the BETA.
Keen to see what the lag is going to be like.

Already decided I like the game, hoping they have fewer day-1 issues than we had with Diablo3.

Will it be the same classes or different classes to play this weekend ?

I've always been a fan of the franchise and would LOVE to play this, but this is the most capable PC I own: Would this hardware run the game?

Cannot say with certainty but I have my doubts. However, you should be able to get a GPU that could run it for fairly cheap. Something like a 1060 will play the game with some level of success I should think.

This is an ultra small form factor PC though :/

Going to give the BETA a spin on PC and Series X.

As much as I loved Diablo 1 & 2, I'm worried that they sneak in some pay-to-win crap and lootboxes etc. after release. Kom ons kyk maar.

I can confirm this will not put me off. As long as I can play my SP campaign I will be happy.

And yes my resolve is great, I bought Battefront II for the single player campaign.

Peeps, looks like the game is bricking GPUs á la New World.

Seems to be limited to Gigabyte (and Asus?) 3080 Tis for now, but worth a watch for those wanting to play the game.

Got a 3070, had 0 issues with visuals

So which class you guys going to try first , or those who played last week , which class you plan on playing this weekend ?

Personally i am really excited to try the rogue class but i'll probably get stuck on the necromancer again. Hoping the queue for the game won't be as bad as OW2 tho, dunno if i can stomach another queue royale game.
