Back on the topic of side hustles. Software testing is a decent option for filling up gaps in a day.

I do some after hours work with these guys: About Us - Testlio

$12 per hour for testers and $15 per hour for test leads. You won't be rich but it does keep the brain sharp

Where are you at now @plazma_za ? Do you have any actual leads you want to pursue atm? Or still deciding to do the 6hr days?

I am still in the process of deciding whether to take the pay cut and reduced hours versus staying where I currently am. I am fortunate enough to have until the end of Feb to make my decision.

As you have mentioned alongside someone else, I could use that opportunity to upskill myself. Possibly looking at TEFL or something that can be done during the in between time.

TEFL is very saturated (overly) and (from what I hear) they are becoming more stringent on requiring a teaching qualification as well.
