Morning everyone,
I have an 1070ti that I am wanting to try a repair - it has some quite rust around the headers & connectors.
EvapoRust seems to be the go to - it recommends submerging though. Has anyone tried this and have thoughts? I was thinking of wiping it but this does not seem intuitive to the process.
Afterwards, I have some replacement headers - the single HDMI and the three DP are mainly affected (nothing on the DVI however). From what I hear, this is not your classic at home solder job - can anyone recommend a good & reliable electronics shop that can do this while I wait (for a reasonable fee too)?
