Is it me or has the whole raspberry Pi thing has died out a little, (thinking it has a little to do with the nerfing of most of the free channels on Kodi) I still use mine with Kodi together with my stored media content on my DiskStation (naz box). Works well together with the Kodi android app and love it to bits. If I could afford it I'd buy two more.
But I was wondering what people are doing with theirs?

I've got a first gen Pi that got semi fried by lightning, it still works except for the HDMI output (haven't had any luck with the RCA video output either), so using it as a HTPC is a bit difficult. I do have a Wolfson DAC board for it so I'm busy setting it up as a headless music player that I'm integrating with my own amplifiers.

Still use my Pi 3 for Kodi - RealDebrid FTW . It's also running as an Echo Device with Alexa

using a Pi Zero for my home automation.

Wouldn't say died down

It's not quite the revolution it was when it initially came out,since there's many cloneboards and other more powerful SOCs now
But I think saleswise they are still going strong. Too powerful and affordable not to be

Personally I need to hold back before I buy every 2nd-hand one that pops up

Used laptop webcam from a repair shop, hot wired to a usb cable?
Saw that in a youtube vid not too long ago - might get one dirt cheap?

Has anyone used it as a cctv for home? is it worth the effort or is still cheaper to go to a hardware and get a complete system?
