I’m selling the printer as I have too many printers and not enough time. It produces really high-quality prints as can be seen from the examples in the photos.
The printer and the enclosure were custom built using high quality materials and they complement each other perfectly.
The enclosure consists of three compartments, all fully enclosed with glass doors.
The bottom compartment houses all electronics including the Raspberry pi, the printer’s control box and a UPS. There are two very quiet fans built in to keep everything cool.
The middle compartment houses the printer and keeps it very quiet. This compartment has four adjustable vents that can be adjusted by simply screwing them in or out. It also houses the extractor fan with HEPA and carbon filters, an HD webcam for monitoring prints remotely and LED strips.
The top compartment provides storage space for eight rolls of filament and feeds through to the printer compartment. This makes swapping between rolls of filament for different prints very easy. It also houses a temperature and humidity sensor for monitoring the conditions the filament is stored in.
The entire enclosure is mounted on lockable castor wheels to make it easy to move around.
