RGB troubleshoot with no header

I got my hands on an Aio with a controller rgb fans but ran into a wall with the install.
Currently only the aio's rgb works.
The fans power on but no rgb. Motherboard lacks a RGB header so how else can i power the RGB cable?
complete noob with the rgb stuff💀

Did you plug A and G into B in CONSECUTIVE order (you can't use eg 1, 2, 5 - it must be 1, 2, 3) and then use C to set the lighting?

Ill check that and try. My box has LED1 LED 2 then fan1 fan 2 up till 8 . can get pictures if needed

Try FAN1-3. LED1-2 seems to be for LED strips, not fans.

tried that and fan 1s rgb is on and wokring. fan 2 only spins no colour. did try all other prots. foundout led input is just for the aoi. any suggestions ?

From what I can tell it's a single cable for the LEDs and fan power. Swap fan 1 and 2. If the same fan stays unlit, faulty fan. If the other fan lights up, faulty controller.

guessing its one of the two as fan 1 only lights up in fan 1 port. no other configs work. Bought new in Combo from evetech so doubt they will warranty it if its faulty. Will take it to a pc shop and have them test it to be sure. thanks

so what exactly happens when you start pressing buttons on the remote, seeing as your motherboard doesn't have a header?

and he meant that, if any other fan gets placed in FAN 1 position, then it would be the controller

Only one fans rgb works in one port. The remote changes the colors on the one working fan and aio fine. Does sound like its the controller maybe
