RDR2 coming 5th November to PC

Its on Sale currently on steam for the next 9 hours or so for around R799.20

With every update on Nvidia's end and rockstars end I am seeing incremental improvements in fps ... Running the ingame benchmark I am getting 64.7 fps with every setting in basic and advanced on max settings excepting reflections on high and water refraction on one setting under max ... water Physics quality also on one setting below max

How are people with 1080ti's running this game on ultra almost everything and getting high fps in 4k?
With my tweaked settings (mix of ultra and med) at 3440x1440 I'm anywhere between 45-60, mostly hovers around the 50s. Thank cthulu for gsync

I paid R570 on cdkeys btw, for the R* version. Thoroughly enjoying it so far

@dash09 I purchased it before that offer on Cdkeys for R620... havent installed it as yet...need to make HDD space.

Also read some articles (Cant recall where exactly) to improve performance, turning down the water physics helps a great bit.

You don't, you run a mixture of settings and still only get 40-50avg lol, gsync helps allot though

Aha so my game performance is on par. It is a pretty demanding game, but still looks great even with mixed settings. I run an undervolt on my gpu, disabled that and didn't see much of a performance boost

I saw 0.5 fps increase overclocking cpu from 3.6 to 4.2 and ram from 2133 to 3200 lol.
Hopefully whatever replaces the 2080 Ti will be able to do 4k 60 maxed out, or atleast almost.
Not sure if anyone plays online but they now added snow everywhere on the map for Christmas and the snow storm is eating even more fps
