Ravencoin (RVN) Mining

What do you think about Ravencoin? All the news looks promising. Might be a good long term investment.

It makes use of x16r algo (new).

I decided to mine it when I am not gaming. 1 thing I noticed my gpu clock jumps way higher than the actual boost clock. My boost around 1700mhz and it jumps between 1850-1950mhz. No overclocking temperature runs on an average at 60 never exceed 64. Is this normal or bad?

I just shifted my Miner on Pigeoncoin looks like a scam but who cares Diff very low got about 350 coins in the last 3 hours. Planning on mining about 2000-3000 then ill jump back on the RAVEN train!

Yeah, I also only started on RVN two nights ago, I am at just under 350 coins. I am currently using suprnova as they are the most reliable with payouts. Which are you using?
I hope that RVN (at least) stays ahead of XVG, as I mine almost double the RVN/day compared to XVG

I am busy using yimmp pool. Payouts every 4-5 hours. Cause of the skyrocket in price the difficulty increase quite a lot so my mining slowed down quite a bit.

I just got this gut feeling Ravencoin is going to be worth a lot more in the future. So it is worth taking a chance.

I mean its trading on 2 exchanges at the moment just think what would happen if this coin get more exposure.

Agreed! Just try to accrue as many coins as possible before it ends up on whattomine.com...then you will see the difficulty spike.

Interesting, I may look at pointing a rig onto Ravencoin for a few weeks and sneak in some few thousand of these coins.
What exchanges are you using to convert RVN to? I see that Cryptobridge and Nanex currently support RVN.

I am HODLing for now. Right now those are the only exchanges.

I am planning on holding for the long term. Ravencoin should be added to more exchanges in the future so keeping my RVN in my Raven wallet till it get more exposure and hopefully by then the coin will be worth a lot more!

I saw on the latest news Ceo of overstock invested millions in this coin so lets wait and see. The roadmap release date is the 3rd of April so then we should have an idea what exactly is coming.
