Just be careful they throttle VPN traffic although they don't acknowledge that they do (immediate 0-1Mbps when connecting a VPN) and their support is crap.

If it works for you, then great, if not then cancel and move on quickly. MTN fixed LTE is much better for me now, it's capped but I cannot work with the shit service from Rain and lies about not throttling my work VPN.

Me and my son play online games together, and no problems, not even if other family members watch Netflix etc on the TV and other devices at the same time.
Youtube is a pain in the .....................whatever. Some days it works perfectly, others you can barely get 360p.
Tower is about 1km from me, so good signal.

This is their throttling, they also over contend their network so it really is a best effort service. Any ISP can peer at NAPA for free, so throttling YouTube is just poor network management as the upstream data is free.

It's a great business model having a data only network but poor execution in terms of quality.

Also speedtest data isn't throttled so if you do a speedtest it doesn't test the service's capability and you then wonder why YouTube is'nt working. Just check on MyBB plenty of people echo the poor service sentiment.

Which fibre provider does 300Mbps for R999 ?

Looking on the Afrihost site, closest is Frogfoot at 200Mbps for R999.
