Site Installation Lead
As a Site Installation Lead at Alphawave Golf, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation,
execution and on-site management of our Inrange radar tracking system at customer premises around
the world. Working with the engineering team, production team, project manager and account manager,
your goal will be to ensure that each installation is delivered to specification and meets the high
standards we set for our brand and product offering. You will also play an important role in optimising
the entire installation process to improve cost and efficiency and our ability to scale the site installation
team.
What you will be doing
● Installation design and planning, including cable routing and cable management, computing
and network equipment, mounting infrastructure, radar sensors mounting and installation of
user-interfacing touchscreen devices.
● Manage and track procurement and delivery of parts and equipment. Ensure that the entire bill
of materials is ordered and delivered on time for installation.
● Develop custom solutions to installation challenges at customer sites, and work with
contractors and team members to implement them.
● Installation and commissioning of the radar system and related computing equipment.
● Assist with training customer staff to operate and maintain the Inrange system.
● Monitoring, pro-active maintenance and support of the Inrange system.
● Assist the engineering and production teams to streamline the installed product and installation
process, and develop standard solutions for regularly encountered challenges at customer
sites.
● Coordinate and manage junior site installers.
Requirements
● Good practical and technical problem-solving abilities.
● Attention to detail, and the drive to complete projects to high standards.
● Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of technology and/or infrastructure at
customer sites.
● Technical qualification and experience advantageous.
● Willing and able to travel and work in various parts of the world.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage contractors and
customer relationships.
● An interest in and understanding of golf will be beneficial.
