Question regarding monitor black screening

Sounds like the same issue, I do remember he said it did that in csgo, I tested it with some COD game and eventually got the black screen with sound going.
Maybe chek your temps to see if their is no overheating, if so change the thermal compound, or perhaps underclock your gpu and see if the black screen issue clears up.
I will give these suggestions a try. Thank you.

Run gpu stress tests for an extended time (OCCT / heaven benchmark on loop), keep an eye on temps / core clocks etc with msi afterburner / hwinfo, how old is that powersupply btw?
Will do some stress tests definitely. FPS is unlocked yeah, will try locking it down as well and see if that does anything.

so this problem was only occuring in csgo? What are comps?

So ran a 3DMark bench, and got a score of 7300, was about to go and screenshot and whatnot and then my PC black screened.

The benchmark ran fine, ran right through, and then after the bench finished (maybe a minute and a half later?) the system blacksceeened.

So not only in CSGO comp

Most probably the GPU. I had that issue twice before. One with a Vega 64 and the other with a Radeon VII.

Just had my system turned on, but on the Windows lock screen. Been sitting there for a while and it just blacksceeened.

No. The Vega 64 was replaced via RMA.

if youโ€™re close by, youโ€™re welcome to visit and use one of my GPUs to test to confirm
Nah it's cool, thanks though! Going to ask my brother if I can borrow his GPU and test. Lives right around the corner from me.

1) Make notes of the times this happens (sync phone / watch to PC).
2) Check the event log for logs just before the issue happened. Try find a pattern.
3) Have you tried to replicate the issue in a new Windows User Profile?
4) Update BIOS & all drivers.
