I have a build in mind that would require a specific GPU (Gigabyte RTX4060 LP), this was only released less than a month ago in the US. My question is how long do we usually see stock hitting SA after a new product is launched?

I know this is difficult to answer as we do not get every product that is released on the international market and suppliers would only stock if there is a demand, also sailing times these days are few and far between and a usual shipment is 4-6 week sailing from the US. With that being said I am just looking for a ballpark estimate?

I see previous Gigabyte consumer Low Profile GPU's have been been brought in and am wondering if I should bite the bullet and buy in a card or if its worth waiting a bit but that would depend on if its a couple months or years. Any help appreciated.

I've requested an ETA from the suppliers as well as Gigabyte ZA and should have feedback in the morning :)

I saw those Gigabyte LP cards on YouTube today. The heatsink is still a thicc boi.

Not REAAAAALY.

Aorus Elite:

It's similar to the MSI Ventus, but half the height.

Must say I was pretty impressed by it's thermal performance in one of the Dell systems. You know the ones that give you two slots plus a few mm clearance just below before you hit PSU.

Awesome news. Yeah from what I have seen so far could make quite the epic SFF build. Currently have a AM5 ITX with a 7600x. Reckon I could get this a 400w flex atx psu and a RTX 4060 LP into a sub 4L case. This is what I have so far, still need to add the ventilation and maybe a couple 90mm slim fans. As it stands the case would be 200x200x100mm.

Adjust that for the dual slot card. I know things like the RX 6400 are single. That should allow you to gauge the final product and cable requirements as I know it is powered from a plug at the rear of the card.

Yeah that's the plan, the card in the model is an A2000 which I found off grabcad. It is tough to find the 3D models for components but I am glad that we have as much as we do thanks to communities of PC enthusiasts. Once I get all the components I need ill model everything and put the final design together before laser cutting.

Yeah I think it would just comedown to how you will route the power cable for the GPU taking into account the placement of the plug on the board. I think its on the top outer edge at the back but the heasink extends past it to the back. Assuming you've seen this then:

I had not seen this, thank you. I think the sandwich layout would make it far smaller as mounting the GPU traditionally creates so much vertical wasted space in the case. Also do not like the idea of a HDPLEX psu as you essentially need to buy the power brick separately and costs more in the long run. Really interesting none the less and some good food for thought.
