Hi all, new company, new ERP, same crappy standard reporting. I started a new job last week. We run Sage Evolution with Xperdyte manufacturing bolt-on. From past experience I expect to need ODBC or similar read-only database access to do the analysis my role demands. Anyone here that can show me the ropes?

I was gonna say something about having to make sure to find the 32bit ODBC launcher in SysWOW64 if it's a 32bit application you're working with. This was an issue in Win7 as setting ODBC from Control Panel would only set 64bit which then couldn't talk to a 32bit program/database. But it seems Win10 fixes that and displays links to both launchers in Admin Tools.

And that's as far as my knowledge goes.

I do now how to set up access to ours at work that Tourplan uses (travel industry) but exactly how you do it depends on the database's settings and isn't something one can prepare for (because not all databases use all settings). Surely someone from the company could set up access via Teamviewer?
