Hey guys..

Im thinking of getting some Crucial Ballistix Tracers imported. Its only a thought for now and just to get an idea if any1 would be interested in joining? We get a discount on 2 or more kits according to the store.
Best place i could find was Newegg.
So have a look at the site and let me know. You are more than welcome to have a look at other stuff(That we are unable to get in S.A) as well. Would prob be around the end of Sept/October if i do decide to order.
Also, if anyone can help or suggest any other stores, please do :)

Cheers for now

May i suggest MemoryC.com as they ship to SA and as far as i know Newegg don't ship outside the US

i have used MemoryC many times and there service is amazing

i was actually thinking of using Fedex. Has anyone actually tried this before? MemoryC.com does not stock Crucial AFAIK :(

Ah. My brother recently went through this same experiment - he imports and collects rare swords (from cheap show pieces to more expensive tamagiri cutting ones) and the results were as follows.
When the company has the option of shipping internationally they will have USPS - United States Postal Service - with various option, FedEX express and normal FedEx or UPS and UPS express. In all instances using either FedEX or UPS (either option - using the cheapest shipping option they had) it was hands down MUCH more expensive than USPS.

In my current import from PPCs I can attest to this - using USPS costs $600 LESS than UPS to do my shipment. I then still get a tracking number and the gear gets here in 3-5 days.

If you have not other option - then you can use FedEX or UPS to bring over some gear...but the shipping is gonna be total rapage of the wallet ;)

Look at sites like USA Address & Mail Forwarding, they take your deliveries in the US and keep them in your own personal storage space, you get a US address to use as your own. They'll forward your packages to where ever you are when you tell them to and can do what they call reconsolidating your packages meaning they put them into a bigger box and post them to you at cheaper delivery prices. They can also make purchases for you even by physically going to a store with no online shopping and buying anything you want but you get charged a lot for that, about another 15%. Their international shipping prices are some of the best i've seen, they list stores that you can buy from and it includes newegg.

Indeed. Just sad that you pay a subscription fee for that service. You have to import a lot to justify that.

loko import that mdpc sleeving kit and side panel, you know you want to :p

I am just waiting on slick to make that thread, then might jump on the sleeving bandwagon - heretic, aint it time you and BT can get back in Chatbox?

Attention to all interested!!! I live in Germany currently, but am visiting home (Johannesburg) for the entire month of december. anything that can be ordered on a german website (and paid for upfront, ofc) can be shipped to my place and i will bring it with (u can collect form my place in Johannesburg).

i just thought about the fact that you wouldn't trust this...i've been in the prophecy forums since they were created (before this carbonite thing) ... you can have my house address in Johannesburg and go and ask my parents to validate me! lol.

anyways, if u want to take me up on this offer, let me know before end of September. A KFC double Crunch is all i ask as payment (they dont do the double crunch here...sigh)

yeah maybe someone can post stores that can ship to germany?(hopefully some cheap shipping) would be great :)

Actually MDPC-X's shipping is pretty damn decent by all counts. When you go for that Sleeve Kit+10m+1m deal, the shipping is only 12 euro.
