PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

@DiSSaRRaY In about 1300Hrs of play I have not heard that once:ROFLMAO: Apparently TPP is worse for hacking than FPP (Only play FPP) but the whole "hackers are ruining the game" is definitely not true at this stage of the game. Not saying you don't find the odd one here and there but it's definitely not a common thing these days.

There's the constant female Chinese voice playing the same thing over and over, it's advertising hacks for PUBG.
I have experienced this aswell with every single game. Blairing chineese voice on a loop pre-game and in the plane  Makes you not want to even play the game. How hard is it to actualy clamp down on these bots?

Hmmmmm,

Matching with alot of central european servers ( 190 - 220ms ) if the network stats are anything to go by... This is a huge concern for me still as I often die FAR behind cover. There's just no way to hope to be competitive- just play casually and enjoy the few rounds you do well.

Game runs fine - just some dodgy shit happens and my guess is due to netcode / latency. Nothing we can do about that sadly.

I watched Spreeezy yesterday - this oke just makes me sad !

Just look at this shit ! The mans insane !

I'm surprised people still play PUBG honestly. I played again recently...it's just so bad on so many levels. At least locally anyway.

Looking at BLOPS 4, I can't see PUBG lasting much longer. Was fun while it lasted though.

We're taking a sabbatical from this game. On every single region we try, there are continuous ads for hacks, and the players using them are all over the map.

Until they get a handle on this issue, I'll be off trying other games.

It's really ruining the game and its reputation.
I have not heard the chinese lady voice in ages. I'm assuming you are playing 3rd person, change to 1st person, you should not run into hackers, except if you are a godlike player and in the top 1% EU.

Yeah the Chinese ad was very common about 1-2 months ago, either bots or just users looping an audio clip. I was actually matched with one of these "bots" in a random squad game. They will loop the audio clip up until 80% of the flight path and then disconnect.

Lol, Go check the Black ops thread to see how happy people are about it.

@MrBeefy We hear it everywhere, and in FPP or TPP. In our squad, there's 250-350 hours of PUBG for each player, as we've mostly played the game together. We get killed by Chinese names the most, and when checking the death cam, it's usually clear that the guy snapped onto you and is only firing only head shots, with any gun at any range.

We tried playing again last night, and experienced the exact same thing.

I’m still thoroughly enjoying it. Especially now with the objectives.

Also hardly encounter hackers these days.

Aiming Anonymous have custom servers up most nights. Nice to play with local guys if you want to get away from the Asians.

Just because they have Chinese names, doesn't mean they hacking...Due to us being matched up in high latency lobbies, you will find a lot more players from outside of EU in your game. Between that and the already buggy killcam & low tick rate it will appear as people "snapping" far more than what they really did.

If you still feel that you're being cheated of your chicken dinners go play some Faceit games, far better anticheat, but the players are also a lot better than your standard casual player.

We also play with other people who are a lot better at PUBG than us, and they agree with us whenever we mention the enemy was cheating. And if one guy head shots the whole team from hundreds of meters away with an UMP, and quickly, and killed a bunch of people before even getting to us... I would say it's cheating, and that's happening a lot to us.

You can't be serious?

The small insignificant Black Ops 4 threads we have on Carb does not speak for the majority of local players. From the Blackout games I played during the beta, the consensus from the majority of the players were that they loved it (mainly because of the latency) and will definitely be buying the game.

I didn't want to buy it and then the 2nd win I got was so fun I now want to preorder it but I'm not sure if we will have the player base in SA on PC, that's the only thing stopping me from preordering it right now.

There should be a decent playerbase. I am buying the game, but for the MP and not for Blackout. When I feel like BR, I’ll be playing Ring of Elysium. It’s free and it’s far better than the other BR games

Regarding Update #22 Matchmaking Related Issues - PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

Hi everyone,
We’re aware that many of you are having a bad experience with the recent changes to matchmaking that went live in Update #22. The intention of these improvements is to re-enable map selection and provide a better game experience and faster queue times.
The improved system is intended to automatically send players to the region that provides the lowest ping, but unfortunately an error related to ping calculation occurred and the player’s location wasn’t being identified correctly, resulting in them being placed into matches in a region that didn’t provide the optimal gameplay experience. Due to the large number of players affected by this issue, the gameplay experience for many players has been impacted negatively and we sincerely apologize for this.
Within the last 24 hours we deployed an initial fix to prevent players from connecting to the wrong local region. The team is actively working to resolve the remaining issues in a fix we expect to deploy next week, which also includes a change to prioritize matching players with teammates who speak the same language, to improve the player experience.
Once deployed, the system will now properly prioritize putting players into matches on servers in their local region. In the event of excessive queue times due to a small matchmaking pool, the next closest region will be chosen to ensure players aren’t stuck matchmaking indefinitely.
We understand that issues like this are extremely disruptive to how you enjoy the game and we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our loyal players. Our team will continue to closely monitor this issue, both through data and player feedback.
We’ll keep you updated on our progress and make another announcement once the additional fix is deployed next week.
