Thread URL: My PIF for getting the Corsair Vengeance 1500 V2 Dolby 7.1 USB Headset from this here thread
Item: Unused PCI-E riser card powered by MOLEX or SATA 1 to 3 slot (1x) + 5m LED strip (unused)
Packaging: Original
Age: About 2 years
Warranty: Expired, bought overseas
Condition: Unused, so excellent
Location: Durbanville, CT
Shipping: On you, but willing to send it via courier of your choice
Once upon a time I had this idea of using the PCI-E slot in my itx board which was assigned to a WiFi card and expanding the PCI-E ability of the itx board with a riser card.
Unfortunately my itx board decided to have a memory slot failure, effectively rendering it useless, before I could try out my plan. I thereafter bought an ATX board, so I didn't need the riser anymore. What this does is plug into a 1x slot and via a USB3 cable it connects to the riser board which has 3 1x slots. Useful if your GPU has taken up PCI-E slots that you need for other devices like WiFi cards.
I've also added an full RGB 5m LED strip reel to the PIF. It has 3M tape on the back to stick onto a surface. It has tested fine (12V is very bright) and I kept it in its sleeve, and besides testing it, I've never used it.
