Hi guys. Posting here out of hopeless desperation that someone might have advice.
Trying to join my bro in payday 3 on xbox game pass, installed etc, launch game.
Pop-up window appears to sign in from "email and accounts" according to task manager, i sign in to my account by a simple click. disapears.
game launches. Game has the splash screen, window appears again. i sign in again. goes away. again.
Game is on "press any key to continue", i click....the sign in window appears again. no matter what i press, it keeps popping up. clearly some type of issue.
I can run any other game just fine on the game pass, but not this one.
Ive updated EVERYTHING. Xbox app, xbox gaming services, device drivers, unplugged all non-essential devices, no OC on system, updated iwndows, all of it. Didnt help.
uninstalled the gaming services AND the XBox app. Reset all stored data. installed again, same issue after sync. Contacted Xbox, they say i have to contact game support. I havem but no answer yet.
I am at my wits end, no idea what to try next. But if i launch anything else from game pass it just works. Not xbox being the issue then, or having to sign in. And the game actually starts up, so its not that i cant run the game.
seems to be the link between the game and the launching platform, but xbox claiming its not them.
Do i just wait for a game update now?
