New Phone - Software Dev - What To Do

Good Day

I recently got the new S22 Plus and Galaxy Watch4 Classic and I have a few questions.
I am a software developer and a Freelance Bug Bounty Hunter.
So when I get new tech I am always looking for ways to mod the tech. I was hoping someone can please share opinions with me as how I can have more fun with my devices as a Software developer. I know about rooting my phone but my questions will be why you think it to be good and bad to do it and how it would benefit curiosity and experimentation, the reason why I ask this is I have done it before and done some reading up on it but I want a little bit more interactive advice and advice that comes from experience. So anyone that can help me I will much appreciate and value your advice. I also looked at installing Kali on my phone but it seems that Kali is only supported on certain android devices is there a work around for this like dual boot or is it better not to use it, I have experience with Kali on PCs and Laptops but not with Mobile Devices, for that I usually use Termux on my android device but Termux seems to be limited lately.
I am open for any advice you can give me. Thank you.

Recently rooted my S9+ after upgrading to the S22 Ultra. Flashed a custom ROM named NOBLE_ROM, so currently running the exact same Andriod + Features my Ultra has. Debloated etc.

You can still run Kali even if it's not officially supported for your device. The mobile variant is referred to as NetHunter. You will need to have a little experience with Magisk, Busybox and Chroot though. It's tedious. Be sure to read everything.

I've managed to get a few tools running after installing metapackages from Kali, but you can add tools individually as well via terminal. You can also just go and download certain tools made as an app, which requires root to function and use without NetHunter.

Some apps work, some don't. Support is also VERY minimal when experimenting in this area. It is what it is. Some tools/apps manage to put the WLAN into monitor mode, some completely crash the device. Nexmon only supports something like two or three WLAN drivers, so you'll have to be familiar with your devices' hardware, etc.

XDA and GitHub; most of the info will be on there. Mostly.

Good luck! It gets fun though. Don't brick your device!

Hi there, I will PM you now. I can most certainly assist you with regard to your queries & request for advice - I consider myself quite experienced in this area of expertise so hopefully I can satisfy your requirements 👍
