Need some advise with my EVGA GTX1080ti
So this thing over heats. One Superposition run it hits 83 degrees in an open case. When sitting in Siege menu after about 15min it gets to 84 and crashes, Star wars Jedi, after about 20 min of gameplay it Artifacts, Dead by Daylight crashes after about 15mins.
Even on a custom curve with Frequency lowered to 1600 it runs at about 76-78 and every now and then still crashes...
On a auto downclock it still hit 80 and above even after a -200 on frequency
NOW COREX say there is nothing wrong with this GPU. They apparently played all the games I have issues with, Ran a bunch of benchmarks and stress test and never went over 80 degrees in a small case with no ventilation. I even sent the a pick of it artifacting and have loads of picks where it runs hot - BUT they asked me if I was over clocking. Some of those pics where on the downclock even.
SURE Corex ok! Probably not much I can do about their shitty service?
Question has anyone dealt with EVGA warranty directly? What are my hops with this? Are they like Logitech with excellent support in South Africa or am I shit out of luck and will need to water cool this thing or something?
Warranty expires end of this month
