Need GPU advice: is GTX 750 worthy replacement for HD 6850?

I need to spend this R250 Kalahari voucher by end of the month, and they have a Gigabyte GTX 750/1GB on special for R1600.
Would anyone know if it's a substantial upgrade over my old HD 6850?

For R1600, that is not great value, even with the R250 discount.

Is this a 750 ti? You perhaps have a link?

Not a worthwhile upgrade unfortunately. Buy secondhand, there are 580s on here for less than that.

Eh, I wouldn't, that's a big waste.

I think the best recommendation would be to either buy a well priced graphics card online, or buy a 2nd hand card from here, as suggested by [MENTION=29847]Spaffy[/MENTION]
