So i have a friend who is a cop and their squadron / team have been given normal ass masks and believe it or not sunlight soap because of the shortage of the proper protective sfuff.

I am willing to buy a few of these masks so that i can donate it to them ...

Saw a young guy with one of these woodworking sawdust cheapo masks today, I laughed so hard I nearly P@&ssd myself. That stuff don,t even keep sawdust out. Does people even know how microscopically small that virus spores are............ You would be the same off if you use mosquito mesh in front of your face.....
Health care profs who used N95 masks got it, being exposed a lot.

I wore mine (sawdust mask) for the fun of it, took a few pics then took it off.
The latex gloves on the other hand are useful. But even without Corona I keep my distance from people as a germaphobe

Latex gloves only work if you don,t touch your face etc when you have it on.
If you walk around with it, and for some reason you get some of the droplets on it, then touch your face, you would have been better off just washing and sanitizing your hands without gloves.
The virus don,t spread via our hands, but via droplets, which fall on surfaces, which we touch, gloves or not, and from there, if you go anywhere near the mouth or eyes etc (mucous membranes), boom. Or if you are close enough to inhale airborne drops when someone coughs etc.

Gloves and masks work, but only if used correctly.

Same here, we are being told stock is low. Sunlight dishwashing will work perfectly, any type of soap, but ONLY if you wash for longer than 20 seconds, or time it take to sing happy birthday twice.
