My dogs (lightly) chewed the mics on 2 of my headsets and now they don't work anymore, an A50 and an Arctis 7. Don't ask me how or why or where or when etc. I just know it happened. I don't use these headsets much (I have too many other headsets that are getting the limelight). But I'd like to fix them and either sell them or put them to use again.
So... Is there any kind soul out there who can help me fix them or point me in the right direction?
Some info that might help:
1. They are very lightly chewed, it's only noticeable upon close inspection, so I assume the inner wires must have been bitten into
2. The A50's mic actually works when I bend and twist it, but only at very specific angles.. so it's not usable as is, but seems fixable
3. I can still select both the headset mics as the sound input in Windows
4. If not clear from the above, both mics look fine aesthetically and still pull out, move as they should etc. .They just don't work
