Good day my name is Chrisjan. I recently bought a MSI RTX 2080 ti. After I installed it, it runs and powers up smoothly but shows an exclamation mark at device manager.
I installed the latest drivers for it but still the same issue. Graphics card warms up lights come on fans are turning spinning.
Computer specs I have:
Mobo MSI z370 gaming pro carbon Ram
16gb ddr4
PSU 750 watt
CPU I7 9700
If any one can give me pointers on how to fix it I will be really grateful.
Kind regards Chrisjan

I dont know how to explain this.
CPU-Z Shows me the
CPU Name
Brand
Code name
Technology.
But it does not show me the
Clocks or Memory.

Exclamation sounds like a code 43 to me.Go check properties in device manager of the card and if it does mostly likely a damaged bios chip

I checked for a dead Bios chip but it seams to be okay.
I was able to find my bios version when I used NVflash in Command prompt and I flashed successfully to a other version and the back to working original version and it worked every time.
I ran MODS on my device and got 33 read and write errors on my D1 VRAM module.
So I will definitely start there.
Does anyone have or know of a reliable source where I can buy GDDR6 vram modules from used or new?

Regards Chris

U can check alixpress.Just don't order from any one that has very few sales as their often scams but 500 plus sales with 4 plus stars are reliable sellers just prepare to wait 3 months as its a small item

Firstly, open Device Manager, click on the RTX 2080Ti and click properties.

In the Device Status window it should give you a message or description of the error. If so, tell us what it is.

However, I would also suggest you download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and uninstall ALL nVidia and AMD drivers from your system. Then boot into Windows and reinstall the latest nVidia drivers for the card and see what it does.

Windows has stopped this device because it reported a problem.(code 43)
