Hi. I'm sure this is an obscure item but I'm looking to build a case in my desk , I have a basic idea on how to do it without these items but I just think it'll be alot easier to reproduce the same result if I wanted to make more.

If anyone knows of anyone or any local retailers stocking these items then please let me know.

You can use any regular push type switch for a power button ... so long as the switch only stays "on" when you press it .

My brother and I had a similar idea. We basically wanted to build a desk that was a case. Which had all your drives as hot swap bays, extra usbs on the left of the kb and your dvd/bd writer under your mousepad (which is built into the table)

I hope you come right with your build

Whats your location ? I got a few old cases laying around you can cannibalize
Appreciate the help I've actually got a few cases I can take apart myself... That was my "last resort" so I'll be doing that

Cool ideas man, mine will probably be alot more simple I'm looking into this lian li 5.25" bay that has a power reset button as well as 4 USB 3.0 seems like a decent option but like I said I want things to be simple....it'll be more of a proof of concept.

Yeah i did it when i was mapping out my wooden case idea. Titanium drill bit and just take out the rivets. was a lot easier than i thought
