Nanya, nan ya business.
Good day,
I need some advice on buying a monitor as well as a headset and I would like to hear suggestions from fellow carbies.

PC specs:
Case:
NZXT S340 Elite
MB: Gigabyte Z390 SLI
CPU: Intel i7-9700K
GPU: Geforce RTX 2060 Founder's Edition
RAM: G.Skill HyperX 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
OS SSD: 120GB Western Digital
HDD: 1TB from my old laptop
Cooling: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240 (If I'm correct on the model number)

Monitor:
I am looking to upgrade my monitor (Samsung 24" BX2450 Magic Angle LED Screen)
What I would like to look at is something along the lines of:
Budget R5,000 to R6,000
32" (hopefully)
1440p
144Hz
I have seen Mecer had a monitor that has all the above specs, is it any good? (Link)
Suggestions of other options are welcome.

Games I currently play are RDR2, Farming Simulator 19, and COD MW.
My main concern going 4K instead of 1440p is that my RTX2060 is going to start struggling with RDR2.
I'd also like to try 144Hz as I have never owned anything better than 60Hz.

Headset:
Looking at getting something for around R1,000, what would you suggest?
I generally don't like using headsets, but want to get something to use with COD MW as well as watch some YouTube videos.
I currently do not have a headset anymore, as I gifted my previous set to my little brother.
I saw the SteelSeries Arctis 1 is R1,000 at Wootware (Link) . I have always liked SteelSeries headsets, but never owned one, are they any good?

I was originally planning on buying a Logitech G Pro before lockdown pushed up prices to where I don't think that my limited use of it will justify the price now.

What I am planning on doing is, using a Fifine T669 (Link) mic as my mic when playing without a headset and then sommer using it when I play with a headset so I do not generally need a headset with a mic.

Any input would be appriciated.
Kind regards

Had the Mecer for a few months. Depending on your games/style, I'd say go for it.
I play mostly FPS games, and the VA panels just doesn't cut it for me (vs TN)
At 1440/144 the 2060 will be kicked in the crotch :p Though if I recall people were able to get gsync working on these, so that will help.

Thanks for that info, yeah my main game is FS19 and then RDR2. I play COD a little, I don't play FPS games that much.
