Hi, ok so I signed up just to ask you guys this question :p

So on the 15th op April - last month I ordered a bunch of sleeving from Nils at MDPC-X
100m - black sleeving
100m - blue MKII
and some heatshrink for 2 projects I am working on

Question is its still haven't arrived, its been 22 days till today. How long did you guys wait for your sleeving to arrive at your post office. I really don't want this package be going missing as it was allot of money.

What makes it worse is that we don't get any tracking number to track it

Any advice would be grateful :D

even if you didn't use the tracking option for shipping they generally have a local tracking number, ask Nils for that number, you can track it through their postal service so see when it left the country, then use that same tracking number on ems.sapo.co.za (tracking) to see when it passes through our local customs office.. mine arrived after about a week.

Wow only a week... now you got me really woried lol. But anyways I will email Nils and ask for the tracking number. Lets hope he has it lying there somewhere between all hes sleeving :p

By the way thanks for the reply +

40 days :O to make things worse SAPO is still on a illegal strike if I am correct. The 2 projects I am working on is not that urgent but to have the sleeving will be great as I have a big LAN coming up end of june and I really want it to be done by then.

think my latest one also only took like a bit more than a week to get here

so, who wants to order some sleeving with me?? :p

or you can go to their offices to collect if it hasnt left the airport, they are around the back, you go past the airport and its the next off-ramp after ceasers palace, go left and at the T junction take a right, the next traffic light goes into the complex where the EMS offices are, at the circle go left and over the stop-street, they will be on the right. Phone them before hand (details on EMS site) to make sure its still there and you can collect.

Also use the speed services track and trace option, you can enter the international number and it will give you what the local number is, as well as possibly a little more details.

Sounds like you have been their to often squigly :D

As for the parcel I'll wait, as I said its not urgent so I can wait another few days and btw work is keeping me so busy I will forget about it when it arrives.

ja I think when Squigly was doing his desk, his PPC imports had him put up a tent close to customs for all the stuff he kept getting :p

Got my sleeving just now. Phoned SAPO and asked for local tracking number as I only had international number. The guy on the phone said it was at my post office for 2 days already

Got their and indeed it was there. Had to pay R28 for clearance fee's but I will gladly pay that any day as long as I get my sleeve.

If there is some sleeve left I'll give it away free as then everything that can be sleeved is sleeved but don't get your hopes high :p

If anyone is planning to import sleeve let me know I want to order some more so then we can split shipping costs.

Will only be able to pay on the 26th of this month
