Hi all,

I have a few questions and was wondering if anyone could help me out with regards to gaming on an iMac.

I'm getting a Mac for music production and was wondering how Steamplay titles run in OpenGL as opposed to DirectX. I know that Mac titles get updates less frequently and perhaps run slower but my main concern is hit reg and the like on Counter-Strike: Source and the soon to be released Global Offensive.

Additionally do Blizzard titles run smooth on Mac OS X or should I consider Bootcamp for that to? (Diablo III and Starcraft II)

So my question is whether or not to boot all my games on Windows 7 via Bootcamp on a seperate partition or to run them natively on Mac OS X. I know that even Steamplay title betas normally only run on PC but that is not my concern. My single player titles are also not an issue (bugs etc). It's simply whether or not my Counter-Strike gameplay will remain consistent when I make the transition or to rather run in Bootcamp?
It is important to take note that I'm not talking about playing on a custom built gaming PC as opposed to a Mac. The games will be running on the exact same hardware just the OS will be different, so GPU performance should remain the same (at the mercy of Apple's driver updates atleast)

Has anyone else perhaps got a Mac with experience on the matter? Any help would be appreciated.
