Hello guys, this is a stranger one. I got this drive the other day, and then a guy pulled out of a deal so now I have two identical drives. The one I want to trade:

Item: Lite-On IT LCS-256M6S SSD (OEM Dell drive)
Age: No idea
Warranty: None
Packaging: Anti-static bag, I can box it should the need arise
Condition: Excellent - see below
Location: Centurion/Pretoria
Reason: I want the same, but different - see below
Shipping: Yes, I don't mind, if you're reputable
Collection: Best option
Price: Trade ONLY

Now, what this drive has is the information sticker on the TOP of the drive, like this (whoever thought this was a good idea should be shot):

Now, I'm getting an NZXT S340 case, and I want to mount the SSD's on the PSU shroud right at the bottom of the window. For obvious reasons, the one with the label on the TOP of the drive isn't too nice to look at. So I was hoping that someone has one with the label at the bottom of the drive, like this:

This is so that it matches the one I have, and that'll improve the "clean" look I'm going for in the build. I can pull off the label, seeing as the drive has no more warranty on it, but I'd rather just swap it if there's a kind soul who'd be kind enough to do such a swap with me.

@ravi, seeing as both drives came from you, perhaps you have one like this and wouldn't mind a trade of sorts?

Oh, I should add as a PS: This drive I got from BLaaR - he got the drive from Ravi about a year ago, installed it and then he had issues with the drive where, when he played games on it, it would lag and stutter during gameplay. I got the drive from him, updated the firmware and it's been running in my system since then without a single issue. I've ran games on it, installed software and ran benchmarks - it works perfectly with no issue, and the benchmarks actually exceed the claimed speeds from the internet. Really no issues with the drive now. In total it's not run for more than a month now, if it's that much.

Actually, you know, the drive is out of warranty and it's not a primary drive. I'm REAAAAAAALY considering just pulling off the label and cleaning up the aluminium finish. I got my case today, so I want to do the build.

I'd say go for it. you have nothing to lose and you have pics of the label if someone wants the info one day

I have two identical drives, yeah. Think I'm just going to rip it off and use it as it. Nothing to lose, and it's not like I really see SSD's failing everywhere on a daily basis?

Ripped off the label. Looks muuuuuch better. Drive doesn't have warranty anymore and it's working like a charm, so I don't care anymore. Thanks to all who wanted to assist, specifically to Ravi who immediately sent me a PM with assistance.

Closing this.
