Leroy Merlin not refunding a purchase

Good day,

I recently bought a inverter from Leroy Merlin.

They ended up not having having the one I payed for in stock. I opted for a cheaper one that they did have.

It arrived and from the strat was clearly not working as intended. I requested a return and it was returned to them.

It is already two weeks later. After numerous complaints and queries I just get ignored.

Does anyone gave advice for me to get my money back or perhaps know of someone I can contact?

I send multiple e-mails. The customer service is non existent. They really do not care at all.

I can provide all my e-mails and you will be shocked at how terrible they are.

Unfortunately I saw this after the sale. A colleague bought his inverter from them and he is very happy. This caused me to blindly act.

In the meantime let Leroy Merlin know you've reported them. If they're like Evetech, it'll sometimes mean they panic and get their act together and start actually providing the service they're supposed to provide.

In my experience i won the case, ombudsman instructed i get my money back, if supplier doesn't adhere, case needs to be submitted to the national consumer commission, and thats where it ended. 5 years later still nothing.

Ive given up to be honest. Was 45k
